How We're Different
Our clinicians don’t ask you to do work we haven’t done ourselves. Many of us come to this work with lived experience — including neurodivergence, trauma recovery, and deeply engaging in our own healing. This allows us to offer care that is attuned, practical, and rooted in genuine understanding, not just theory.
What actually happens in services with Mosaic?
We start by getting to know you, your goals, and what feels hard right now. Sessions are collaborative and paced. We explain what we’re doing and why, and you are always welcome to ask questions or request changes.
Do I have to talk about my trauma or history right away?
No. You are never required to share more than you’re ready for. We prioritize safety, choice, and nervous system readiness before exploring difficult material.
What kind of approaches do you use?
We use trauma-informed and neuro-affirming approaches such as EMDR, parts-oriented work, and body-based supports. We adapt how these are used based on how your brain and nervous system work.
What if I need structure, clarity or direct communication?
That’s welcome here. We can be clear, direct, and structured when that’s helpful. You can let us know what communication style works best for you, and we will adjust.
Do you offer options beyond weekly therapy?
Yes. In addition to ongoing therapy, we offer intensives, neuro-affirming assessments, professional consultation, and complementary services. We’ll help you figure out what fits your needs and capacity.
How do I know this is the right place for me?
You don’t have to be sure right away. We offer consultation and conversation to help you decide. You are encouraged to notice how your body feels during the process — comfort, clarity, and trust matter.
