Compassionate Support for Therapists Deepening Their Work with Trauma and EMDR

Building connection, one clinician at a time.

We believe that great trauma work starts with clinicians who feel supported, confident, and genuinely connected to their practice.

Our approach to consultation is rooted in collaboration and care. Together, we'll explore the art and science of EMDR and complex trauma treatment—honoring both clinical skill and the deeply human work of healing.

We're here to help you grow into the therapist you want to be: grounded in your expertise, brave in your clinical choices, and compassionate with yourself and your clients.

Joshua Adair, LCSW, ADS

Joshua Adair is a trauma therapist and EMDR consultant whose work is shaped by something rarer than advanced training: the alignment of lived experience, clinical depth, and a genuine teaching presence.

Drawing on a background in social work, advanced trauma training, and his own deep personal healing work, Joshua brings a felt understanding to consultation that goes beyond protocol knowledge. That embodied foundation is what makes his consultation grounded and real — especially for clinicians working with complex trauma and dissociation, where textbook answers often fall short.

Joshua specializes in EMDR, CPTSD, and dissociation, and has developed a sharp clinical eye for the cases that leave many therapists feeling stuck or overwhelmed. He helps consultees recognize subtle signs others miss, know when to slow down or modify an approach, and navigate the nuance that complex trauma demands — not just by explaining what to do, but by helping clinicians learn to trust their own instincts.

Equally central to Joshua's approach is the relational quality he brings to consultation. He creates genuine psychological safety — normalizing confusion, sharing his own learning edges, and validating the self-doubt that skilled therapists often carry quietly. The result is that clinicians don't just gain skills; they grow in confidence and find their footing as practitioners.

Joshua's goal is to develop clinicians, not just their technique. He helps therapists feel safer, see clearer, and work deeper.
