This cohort is for you if:
Who it's for
You finished basic training. Now what?
Most clinicians leave EMDR basic training with the protocol in hand and a lot of questions about what to do when a real client doesn't follow the script. Certification can feel like a scavenger hunt: finding a consultant, piecing together hours, and hoping it all counts.

This cohort was built for the space between trained and certified
- You've completed EMDRIA-approved basic EMDR training
- You're ready to pursue EMDRIA certification and want a clear, structured path
- You work with clients whose trauma is complex, relational, or dissociative, and the standard protocol doesn't always fit
- You want consultation that builds your clinical judgment, not just a signed hours log
- You'd rather grow alongside a small group of peers than go it alone
Completion of EMDRIA-approved basic EMDR training is required to enroll.

10 EMDRIA Credits
The teaching portion of every session is approved by EMDRIA for continuing education: 10 total. Your certificate is issued after you complete the sessions, the monthly quizzes, and the program evaluation.
Your consultation hours, CE credits, and clinical library in one cohort
Each month pairs one hour of EMDRIA-approved teaching with two hours of live group case consultation. What you learn at the start of a session, you apply to your own cases before it ends.

16 Group Consultation Hours
Two hours every month of live case consultation with rotating case presentations. You'll present your own cases and learn just as much from your peers work.
What's Included

10 Individual consultation Hours
One-on-one time with Joshua throughout the program, including a personalized onboarding session at the start and a growth recap at the end.

A clinical library to keep
Slide decks, clinical handouts, and procedural scripts for every month in your online classroom. Sessions are recorded and posted within 7 days, and a private discussion board keeps your cohort connected.

The 10-month curriculum
Two phases, one clear arc
The first five months sharpen your clinical judgment inside the standard 8-phase protocol. The last five take that foundation into complex, attachment, and dissociative presentations, where textbook answers run out.

Content draws on published work by Parnell, Knipe, Mosquera and Gonzalez, Brown and Elliott, and others, integrated through Joshua's clinical lens.

Joshua Adair, LCSW-S, ADS
Meet your consultant
Joshua is a trauma therapist and EMDR consultant specializing in complex trauma, attachment, and dissociation. His consultation draws on advanced trauma training, years of clinical work, and his own deep personal healing, which gives it a felt understanding that goes beyond protocol knowledge.

He has a sharp eye for the cases that leave therapists feeling stuck. He helps consultees notice the subtle signs others miss, know when to slow down or adapt, and learn to trust their own clinical instincts.

Just as central is the relational safety he creates. His goal is to develop clinicians, not just their technique: to help therapists feel safer, see clearer, and work deeper.
