Estella’s work centers on helping people understand how complicated or traumatic childhood experiences continue to show up in their lives today. She works with clients navigating complex trauma, mother and attachment wounds, people-pleasing, perfectionism, chronic illness, identity, and faith or spirituality. Many of the people she works with learned early to push through, perform, care for others, or put their own feelings and needs aside.
Estella believes therapy doesn’t have to be another place where you have to get everything “right.” Her approach is warm, relational, curious, and deeply human. She helps clients slow things down, get curious about the parts of themselves that learned to survive, and make room for emotions and needs they may have spent years avoiding or suppressing. She values authenticity and believes there is room for humor, creativity, and even a little messiness alongside the hard stuff.

Estella Rodriquez-Adair is a Licensed Master Social Worker whose work is grounded in complex trauma, attachment, and the ways our earliest relationships can shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. She is especially drawn to working with people who have spent years being resilient, holding it together, or becoming who they needed to be for everyone else.
As a Latina, first-generation nontraditional college graduate, partner, mom, and neurodivergent therapist, Estella brings both lived experience and genuine curiosity about people and their stories into her work. She provides neurodivergent-affirming and queer-affirming care and welcomes clients exploring the many parts of their identities.
Estella is colorful, quirky, crafty, and very much herself in the therapy room. She believes clients should be able to show up as their full selves, too. Her work makes room for big feelings, hard stories, humor, curiosity, and the process of figuring out who you are when you’re no longer just trying to survive or take care of everyone else.
