Intensive Therapy · South Austin, Texas
More time. Deeper work. Real change with Therapy Intensives.
Weekly therapy can help you understand your pain. Intensives give you the time to move through it. At Mosaic, we offer focused, multi-hour therapy experiences for people ready to stop managing old wounds and start healing them.
EMDR Intensives with Joshua
For adults and healers ready to go deep on complex trauma. You've done years of talk therapy. You understand your story, but you still feel it in your body. Joshua's EMDR intensives combine EMDR, parts work, and somatic practices in two-, three-, or five-day formats.

The Mother Wound Intensive with Estella
For women healing the relationship that shaped how they love, work, and see themselves. You became the strong one, the helper, the one who held it together. Estella's women-only intensives use attachment-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and EMDR to heal the mother wound at its roots.

The Daughters' Circle
For women who want to heal the mother wound in community. A one-day group intensive of ritual, reflection, and being witnessed by women who understand. Honor where you come from, grieve what you didn't receive, and choose what you'll carry forward.

Why intensives?
A 50-minute session often ends right as the real work begins. Intensives trade the weekly stop-and-start for hours of focused time, so your brain and nervous system can stay with what matters long enough for something to actually shift.
Depth.
No warm-up and wrap-up every week. We stay with the work until it moves.
Momentum.
Focused days build on each other instead of starting over.
A real pause.
Setting aside dedicated time for your healing is part of the healing.
Not sure which is right for you?
That's what the free consult is for. Tell us a little about what you're hoping to heal, and we'll help you find the right fit, whether that's an intensive, weekly therapy, or something else.
Is an intensive right for me?
Intensives tend to be a good fit if you:
• Have done therapy before and feel stuck or plateaued
• Know the "why" behind your patterns but still feel them in your body
• Want focused progress on a specific wound or theme
• Can set aside dedicated time and some space afterward to rest
Intensives may not be the right fit if you're in active crisis, have recent suicidal thoughts, or are in a currently unsafe situation. We'll talk through this honestly in your consult and help you find the right support either way.
How every intensive works
1. Free consult. A short call to talk through your goals and see if an intensive fits.
2. Pre-intensive session. A 90-minute session to confirm readiness, choose your focus, and build grounding tools.
3. Your intensive. Focused hours of therapy with built-in breaks and pacing that follows your nervous system.
4. Post-intensive session. A 90-minute follow-up to support integration and plan your next steps.
Frequently asked questions
How are intensives different from weekly therapy?
Instead of 50 minutes a week, intensives offer several hours of focused work over one or more days. This gives us room to go deeper without stopping just as something important surfaces.
Do you take insurance?
Intensives are private pay. We can provide a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. We offer payment plans through Klarna, Affirm, and AfterPay.
Where do intensives take place?
At our South Austin office and virtually across Texas. Some intensives may also be available in your home; ask about this during your consult.
Can I keep seeing my regular therapist?
Yes. Many clients do an intensive alongside ongoing therapy. With your permission, we're happy to coordinate with your current therapist.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
That's a common feeling, and it's okay. The consultation is designed to answer that question together, with no pressure.
Do you offer crisis support?
We don't provide crisis services. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
